Today’s Astronomy URL

I think that, with the number of asteroids far outnumbering the classical Greek, Roman, and Other mythological names, it’s very imaginative for a team of Bulgarian astronomers to name their latest find after a local celebrity: details are here. The picture is especially fine.

You know, he is kind of hot in a very weird way! I for one would like to see more of him. 😉

If you do a search on his name you can see a few more shots. They keep referring to him as “large” but he’s just bear-like and not particularly fat (at least in the pics I saw).

For some reason I was expecting a picture of the asteroid.

Oh well, no can do. Just the drag queen.

Hey – large works for me, as I am an equal opportunity employer.

Oh, the drag queen will do fine. I didn’t mean that I was disapponted, just that I jumped to a mistaken conclusion from your remark about the picture.
