That is a really beautiful and gracious speech. I’m sure it would be much appreciated. I know for a fact in my own experience, that we (the “extended family”) were stuck for what to say when one of our relatives died – simply because no one really cared enough to say very much (sadly).
I did get quite a few appreciative comments from family and friends. Most of my family aren’t very articulate, but I, of course, preach regularly so applied those skills to this little piece.
