All those brought up in the US in the 50’s and 60’s will remember the jingle that starts: “I wish I were an Oscar Meyer weiner…” Sounds like a strange thing to want to be, really. You have a short enough shelf life and then someone eats you.
Something else that has a short life is the advertising vehicle the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile. I suppose that didn’t come with mustard and relish…
The link took me to a Facebook page advising me to be careful about using my password on sites that weren’t Facebook. I had to copy the correct URL out of the GET string of the Facebook URL. A lot of people aren’t going to know to do that.

well, i wasn’t sure how long they’d used the advertising jingle. Now that I’m in the UK, I’ve not thought of them (except when I longed for a proper hot dog, not the abominations they sell here calling themselves hot dogs) for years.
