good for them. but there is absolutely no way on God’s green earth that I would do that (or willingly parachute jump anywhere, for that matter)
principally because I’d not BE on God’s green earth. But as I said, hooray for those who get their thrills thataway.
I think I’ve always been too decrepit to do something like this. I enjoyed rock climbing the few times I’ve tried it, but the getting-down but was always an ordeal.
To think one of these guys, the one with glasses, died 11 days later during a base jump in Switzerland. It makes me sad, seeing them so full of life in the video and then learning about that.
