Pictures from my Installation

As you will be aware, I was installed as Worshipful Master of Goliath Lodge #5595, UGLE on May 12th, during and through my hospitalisation. I have two pictures which I would like to share with you. The first is of me surrounded by the Officers of my year:

And here is one of my brother, myself, and our friend Rick together. We are all three members of Philanthropic Lodge F&AM, Marblehead, Massachusetts.

It was a wonderful night, marred only by my anxiety that I get back in time to save my bed and the discomfort I was feeling in my right foot. I hope that by October everything is back to mostly normal.

Oooo…you got a thong that colour?

  4. leejean says:

No. I’m looking for silk ribbon that colour. Plus mustard yellow brocade and creamy satin, to duplicate a gown of Empress Eugenie for my antique doll.

AWESOME PHOTOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, I hope you get that top one framed! And in a huge size!

You and your brother look quite alike.

Thanks. I have already printed out one copy of the top photo and it came out very nicely. I think I will frame it.

As for my brother and me, we look very dissimilar when we were young. He was thin and wiry and I was chunky. Now that we’re older, he got chunky and I stayed chunky. Our faces have converged. We both look kind of like our father now.

And can I say that you look terrific for a guy who was spending the day in the hospital, Hoovering the sole of his foot. 🙂

    (HA! I said “hoovering”!)

They didn’t start hoovering until Thursday…but the hoovering is done now. They’ve put a cast on my leg. I think it’ll stay on until the ulcer is mostly healed up (though they’ll replace it periodically just to check on how the ulcer is doing…)
