A Random Act of Culture

What a wonderful idea! It’s a musical flashmob in the Great Court of Macy’s in Philadelphia. The largest pipe organ in the world and more than 600 singers present Handel’s “Hallelujah” Chorus to a store-ful of startled shoppers, some of whom are joining in. Bringing music out of the concert hall and into the public arena is a great thing. I wish they had something like this here in the United Kingdom.
