Today’s Cross-Dressing URL

I am comfortable around those who cross-dress, who are transgender, or who break gender barriers in any way possible. This video is very sweet on the subject.

The video below is of a Japanese TV show in which older teenage boys get a makeover that changes them into older teenage girls. Apparently there’s quite a few clips of this sloshing around YouTube.

I found this one quite touching when the madeover boy was kissed by another boy on screen. It would make an interesting subject for an essay on how transgender people are related to by same-biological-sex people.

What’s with the acrylic kiss? Why not a real one?

I thought it had something to do with the lipstick being acrylic. Did they actually put a piece of acrylic film between them??

My 11-year-old very smart nephew and I were standing in my now-not-stepmother’s driveway, waiting for family members to get their slow rear ends out of the house and into the car so we could go shopping.

As we stood there, I was gently ribbing him. He’d gotten his very long hair (down past his ears) cut in November so that now he has an upright semi-crewcut. Just then, a person about the same age, with incredibly baggy clothes and long, wavy blond hair walked past us on the other side of the street.

Joking about his haircut, I said: “Thank goodness, too,” I said, as my brothers and sister-in-law came outside, “or you’d look like that girl across the street.”

    “That’s not a girl,” he said, “that’s a boy.”

    My brother D. did a double-take. “No, that’s a girl….I think.”

    My sister-in-law said, “No, it’s a boy. He’s got a skateboard.”

“Girls skateboard,” my too-smart nephew said.

“Should we go ask?” My other brother, J., said.

We discussed whether the person was a boy or a girl for the next half hour. We never did come to agreement. (We should have asked!)

HWMBO has very long hair and has been mistaken for a woman before now.

Having seen your Significant Other, I would NEVER mistake that masculine stud for a woman. His face is quite strikingly handsome.

I find that Asian women tend to have very soft facial features, and I never mistake Asian women for Asian men.
